First post.
A little back story: The other night I was supposed to be writing a paper for my interpersonal class. Naturally, I instead stumbled across this amazing personal style blog called The Clothes Horse. The blog belongs to some Christian girl named Rebecca who lives on the other side of the country and is moving to Northern Ireland once she gets married. Basically, she is my dream version of me and she has my name. I fell in love with her blog instantly, and it made me wish I could be where she is at in fashion. Then I realized to a certain extent I could be. I can do what she is doing and I should. So here I am.
What: I want Another Frankie to be something along the lines of a lifestyle and personal style blog. I want my posts to contain clothes, home decor, music, art, projects, travel, etc. Basically, I want it to be a collection of all of the things in my life that inspire me to be creative and all of the results of those inspirations.
Why: I'm doing this as a way to start working on my goals in the fashion industry. I want to open a clothing store one day, but in order to do that I need to expand my knowledge, experiment with ideas, make mistakes, and create. This blog is my attempt to physically organize all of my thoughts and ideas on fashion in one place, and a way to actively try and improve my skills and pursue my dreams.
So welcome. I am 20 years old, a supervisor at a little cafe in a government building, I love all things color, I am stuck in SoCal for the foreseeable future, I have dreams of seeing the world and then opening a store filled with beautiful things, I own a GoPro, and I hope this works.
